COUNSELING SERVICES
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a process for a client to meet a counselor to form a therapeutic relationship and professional interaction, with the aim of focusing on adjustment issues, personal development, followed by the guidance in decision making and exploration of other alternatives.
Group Counseling
Group counseling is a process for members to share their experiences with other group members in the session and act as a learning platform for their future growth. The objectives of group counseling are to guide the members to deal with their adjustment issues effectively and encourage personal development such as changes in behaviors, also in sharing values, enhancing interpersonal skills, career exploration and guidance in decision making (Gibson & Mitchel, 1981; 1999).
Psychological and Well-being Consultation
Counseling aims to cover all areas of psychological and well-being services through personal discussions with students,parents and staff.
Developmental/Awareness and Prevention Program
Psychological Testing
Generally the psychological assessment is in a form of a test, inventory, indicator or index.
DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES
The services are based on the type and degree of impairment experienced by each person. Various types of services and facilities will be provided to the disabled person to enable them to be more self -reliant in their learning process. The services provided will be appropriate and non- discriminatory with the aim to help among them to develop and enhance their potentials so that they can be active members of the university community
