Allowance

Panel Clinic
Eligible for staff and registered dependents.

Universiti Malaya Medical Centre / Government Hospital / University Hospital / Government Clinic
Guarantee Letter (GL) is required during registration for medical treatment and can be obtained via
UMPortal → Applications → Staff E-Services → Perubatan (Medical) → Surat Jaminan (Guarantee Letter) | HERE

Example of medical treatments:

  • Outpatient treatment
  • Emergency treatment
  • Inpatient treatment
  • Specialist treatment
  • Medication intake

Claims for payment of dental treatment / glasses

  1. Eligible for staff only
  2. Limited to a claim of RM300.00 per annum
  3. Claims either for:
  • dental treatment only
  • cost of glasses only
  • a combination of the two claims
